Hi,
I've retired my TB from riding but still want to keep him working with me on the ground. I'm looking at different lunging aids to get him lunging nice. The ones that I've looked at are:
John Whitaker
Perssoa
Mark Todd
All training system with a roller. There little price...
Thanks for the tips - my friend has the farrier coming this week - sorry to hear of the hanovarion snopuma - that's terrible :-(. Hope u get on ok with the farrier - I hope he's as good as mine with the best approach for the horse irrespective of price :-)
I said about the side clips and he has:had them - the farrier took the shoe off then replaced it and it had to be smended as the horse wasn't happy with the fitting afterwards - which explains the recent loss may be :-(
A friend of mine and a 16 hh TB gelding. He only has front shoes and keeps throwing the left - every 2 weeks.
He wears over reach boots when he goes out in the field and when bei g ridden, he doesn't over reach.
Any help and advice would be very much appreciated :-)
Hi there
Thats what I thought - just get on and see how it feels - putting foot in stirup is going to be a challenge (left leg broke) and my horse like to dance about a little when mounting :-(
Hi,
I came off my horse a few weeks ago and broke my leg quite badly. He's being riden whilst I'm out of action but as I start to recover, I'm getting nervous about getting on again - has anyone got any tips for me please?
(My horse is a 17hh TB gelding)
Thanks
My 11 year old 17hh TB gelding is excellent - sturdy and great feet - I don't think you'll have any issues - its like any horse, you'll just need to get to know it.
I've a 17hh TB gelding and he's a little under weight. I've got a great food mix but I'm coming to the end of my alpha A original and wondering whether I should switch to the one with oils and no sugar .... My horse is just building fitness so doing low intensity work. What are the major...
I'm going out tomorrow on a hack with my new 17hh TB with 2 other horses. I've bought a martingale but never used one. I'm hoping it will help with the shape of the neck but more importantly, help with the control/safety. Will a martingale help with this?
