No I don't feed them, my horses don't get any benefit from them so I don't see the point. If my lot want some variety they can pick at the hedgerows.

Yes I've already found that site and that's where it starts to sound quite complex to get the water right. They look like fab creatures and I'm looking for something not too high maintenance so we can go away camping and just have someone visit once a day or so.

When my cat was ill(she's unfortunately passed away now) I bought her a fountain from pets at home and she really liked it. When she was pts I gave it to my mam for her cat who also likes it. Wish I'd bought one sooner really. They prefer it to a bowl of water.

Because it's in a confined space, I know what bird poop etc is like in confined spaces. Not my idea of a nice place to live.
