Sounds like a nightmare to me, i had several similar ones... all got booted...none got told. Now i have the best farrier ever... there are lots of good reliable ones out there!

Hi Is anyone going to the Lyn Russell / Virbac demo/Open day next saturday? I have only just heard about it and it sounds really good. I heard about it through clippersharp as ive just got my blades back. Anyone been before?

Ideal H&C (Highland and Cob) I worked in a saddlery for 8 years and took me 6 to find a second hand one to fit my girl and that was it... like a glove. I have since tried it on 3 other welshys (friends Horses) and they all want my saddle!

I bought my clippers from Clippersharp in devon, when i spoke to the lady there they were very helpful, definately worth phoning them as its an expensive item to get wrong, (which i nearly did!)

My gorgey boy is 16 kg and only 7 months old! Vet says hes perfect for his age, i havent measured his height tho. All i know is( I am new to Springer owning) they are very good for the soul, i wouldnt be without the little nutter.....I want another one!

I have tried this and changed to cranberry juice, horse wasnt drinking much, liked apple juice but had very stinky wees, cranberry is very alkaline and they actually liked it more...... Its now a regular treat! I got mine in bulk from makro.

actually we have just been lucky enough to be granted planning permission and now live on site and have 3 years to prove a better income than its currently producing. Full liveries obviously provide that. I have had my horses at DIY livery for as long as ive had horses so no offence was...

Hi, Would you say there was much demand for full livery in Devon, we are in the Blackdown hills, beautiful place 15 stables some DIY liveries but its nice and peaceful there and dont really want 15 DIYers. Love the ones weve got but want to keep it as a quiet, friendly yard. Thank you!

Not sure about whether to remove them or not, seems very odd! Dont you have to remove them to be sharpened?? Otherwise you would have to buy a new set of clippers when your blades went blunt. I send my blades to Clippersharp in Devon aswell, good prices and quick to send them back.

Does anyone have any recommendations on riding hats- I need to buy a velvet-peaked hat and a skull, i know i will have to have them fitted but there are sooo many. I do like the idea of the HS1, with the extra safety. Any thoughts and recommendations gratefully received!
