Is Prelim 2 1994 the same as Prelim 2 2016?

As title really... Am looking to enter my first dressage on my new boy next week. Looking at the schedule, Prelim 2 is 2016 but I only have a copy which is dated 1994. Does anyone know if they are the same test, slightly different or completely different? Same question for Novice 24, is...

Spectator advice for Mondial du Lion

Hi btgm, We went to there last year on the second day of dressage and for cross country. Don't know about a bus service as we went by car. Angers itself is quite a big university town/city, so we stayed in a smaller town about ten miles north of le Lion D'Angers called Chateau Gontier as we...

    Hat tagging

Apologies! BE rule 7.2 does state that protective headwear must be worn for the dressage phase and must be tagged. I thought that it didn't have to be after competing at Chepstow last year - I took my hat to be re-tagged (I cut the yellow tag off at home but the kitemark inside had worn off)...

You don't need to have your hat tagged for dressage just the jumping.

    Vetting recommendations Mid Wales...

Hi all. Just looking for recommendations for a vetting to take place near Llanidloes. The vendor has given me three names: Williams vets, Machynlleth; Ddole Road vets or Four Crosses vets. Does anyone have any feedback on any of these vets? Any help or info greatly received. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies! Think I'm going to have to totally review his feeding and get phoning around the feed companies.... With regards to micronized linseed, is Charnwood Milling the best place to get it from? Will also be stricter with his exercise and tell him to man up and get on with it...

Feeding an ulcer horse - not what you're expecting...

Hi guys, thought I'd put this in competition as it has a greater throughput than the feeding forum. Right, my question is, how do you get weight off a horse that has suffered with ulcers and is also quite an allergic horse? He stopped eating completely last year (unheard of for him, he...

When do you need to tell insurance company?

Okay, will phone them today. I just wasn't sure if I needed to wait to see what the outcome was. Thanks. W

When do you need to tell insurance company?

Just after some advice from you lovely people... My lovely boy (homebred, 8 yo) has just been diagnosed as having a bone cyst in an inoperable location - right in the fetlock joint, at the base of the cannon bone where it joins on to the long pastern bone and in behind the sesamoid bone...
