    Setting up straw pellet bed

I have all mine on 100% straw pellets from Concord and have done for about 4 years. One out of 3 tried to eat them to start with and I panicked (ALOT) but he quickly stopped and has been fine ever since. Super quick and easy to muck out and after only a couple of days you end up with twice the...

I then also have 3 on livery, 1 is on box rest week 6 of 12 ? and one retired so at the moment my daughter and I are sharing one ? my...

    Badminton Campsite

We stayed this year! 5 nights, mums holiday and it was fabulous! Pitches are booked at the time of booking, you can select where you’d prefer. All pitches were marked out. The campsite wasn’t particularly rowdy. Some noise when they start to return from the lakeside at about 11:00pm but...

    Yes that’s the one!

    Should I change saddle racks

I bought a hinged piece of wood from the national saddle centre that clips onto the rack for exactly this reason. They are great.

You've bought the horse, but somehow "forgotten" to mention it to your significant other ...

I only ever bought my daughter grey ponies. Husband would every now and again come to a competition and say “which one is this” and he was never really any wiser. At one point we had 3 grey connies of various sizes and I’m pretty sure he never worked it out! (They are on livery, not at home ?)...

    Straw pellets

We use Concord Pellets and they are great. Have had 4 horses on them and only one particularly greedy Connie tried to eat them at first. He soon stopped and they’ve been on them about 3 years now. So much quicker and easier to muck out than straw and shavings and all of ours love them!

    Insurance emporium

I have been using them for years and have two self harmers that are quite partial to a vet visit ? never ever had an issue with them paying out and that includes at least one claim for the maximum amount.

    Pellet bedding (strawmax?)

We’ve been using concord for nearly 2 years. We wet the first bed because we had one out of three try and eat them but he stopped and hasn’t since and too ups go in whole and he doesn’t bother with them. It is great stuff. So quick and easy to muck out, hardly any waste unlike a straw bed and is...
