I'm hopefully getting my first pony or horse soon. it'll be kept on grass livery and won't be ridden. I kinda worked the costs out as follows -
livery - £20 p.w.
hay if not provided - help please??
vaccinations - £70 per year
hoof care - £20 for a trim every six to eight weeks
worming -...
I'm looking to get my first horse within the next year or so and am considering a companion pony. I was wondering how much that costs. livery is £80 PCM.
thanks neverseensanta. Ilovefoals - got your pm but can't reply. not currently at hayfield but looking to start lessons there in the new year. hillhead sounds perfect - ill look into that. thanks
Ilovefoals - thanks! oops- must be getting muddled up. just wondering, how cheap is cheap? I'm on a pretty limited budget so loan head will be way too much unfortunately.
Will hopefully be getting a horse in the next year or so but want to be prepared. I'm an under 18 in Aberdeen and would be looking ideally for grass livery but obviously that's not right for all horses so DIY would be an option.
Based in city centre, would like something as close to me as...
Okay, so I'm looking at livery prices for when I get my horse.
Grass/DIY
Can't be ridiculously expensive
Would prefer an indoor/outdoor school but it's not essential
Can't be more than10/15 mins from Aberdeen and preferably on a bus route?
I've always used a mounting block, but what do I do when that's not possible? How do i mount from the ground? I used to do it but that was on a 13hh pony, and even then I found that hard
Okay, so I'm looking for grass livery, and right now Aberdeen riding centre (oldfold) sounds like the best option. Does anyone know their prices??? Thanks :)
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for grass livery in aberdeen. It must be accessible by bus and have a school. Hacking would also be great. I'm not bothered about mixed turnout or whatever.
Do you know any places? Can you tell me the prices and locations?
Thanks
