Aww bless you - i know exactly how you feel as i had to tell my share horses owner last week that i had to give up - and i had a little cry about it too.
But like you, i hope i'll have my own ned this time next year so i'm taking my mind off my share horse by planning what sort of horse i want...

I had a two day clinic with him on a mill street mare I had yonks ago. He made me cry on the first day he shouted at me so much. My mare was a real handful and in the end on the second day I think he got fed up with shouting at me so much he got on...
I have a 5* yard, with great facilities in Tring Hertfordshire, with electronic gated security and YO on site - all i need now is a horse to loan!!
Does anybody know where else i can look for a 15hh to 16hh mare or gelding aged 5 to 15 years that's 100% to hack alone and in company but also...
Can anyone recomend websites for horses to loan?
Have checked the usual sites like HH and Horsemart just wondered if there was anywhere else i could try...
I've put adverts up in my local feed/tack shops too.
Also if anyone on here needs a 5* home with over 23 years experince for their ned...
I actually gasped when she said that - couldn't believe how personal and rude she was being!
It was obviously an 'in joke' but there was no need to be-little Liam in his finest hour.
My friend has just gone through the very same thing with her filly who had OCD in stifle and knees - horrible thing to go through.
Sending lots of good luck vibes to Gumpy x

Got no idea what it's like, or what it's called, as I've never been there (and my horsey patch is further south in Bucks) but I have noticed a yard with a "Liveries" sign outside it along the road that goes through Stoke Mandeville, somewhere near the railway station.
On the other...
Bit of a long shot but am looking for DIY livery for a gelding in the Aylesbury area from May onwards.
Am new to the area so don't know where to start looking!!(have put adverts in local feed shop but have had no reponse)
A school and 24 hour summer turnout would be fab ....
...anyone use them?
How much do you pay and how long do they last?
Am thinking of moving horse to a yard that uses them and want to work out cost effectiveness!
Thanks
I live in Aylesbury and started riding again at the begining of the year after a 2 year break.
I've been going to Hastoe Hill in Tring and they are lovely! Would highly recommend it, although i've stopped going now as have just taken a horse on loan.
Good luck
