    Where to buy cheap horses..

https://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/118668355/16hh-bay-mare.html?link=/search?sectionId=3365&orderBy=mostRecent&page=6 This mare looks nice and might be near the upper end of your budget... a bit smaller than you wanted but could grow a bit more, as only 3yo!

    A WWYD thread

It's far but should be feasible! Could you please send me the link to the video that you mentioned in one of your previous posts? Do you think that the owners would, actually, consider re-homing her?

    A WWYD thread

Whereabouts in the country are you Fools Motto? I'd be willing to buy her for a nominal sum, if the owners would consider it? It seems such a shame to put this little mare down!

Any news Patterdale? Have you started working your boy again?

Does anyone have or know a nutty Connemara?

This ^^^ I bought my Connie after he had been chucked out in the field for a couple of years and nobody was willing to touch him, after having been sent to a pro that just sent him back! I re-backed him VERY slowly to built his trust in me; we only hacked for a year (first 6 months only walk...

    More on the misold schoolmistress

I'm guessing that this has been suggested already but, maybe there's an undiagnosed pain/health issue? I wouldn't really trust a vetting from a vet that I don't know personally!

    More on the misold schoolmistress

I am so sorry Michen to hear that your bad luck with horses continues... Hope this get sorted soon! Out of interest, have you ever seen her rearing in the field? In my experience, there are two types of rearers, natural rearers for which rearing is second nature and they tend to be very...

Why do I keep doing this?! - riding

Maybe try riding a hole or two shorter? It sounds like you are struggling to keep your heals down. You can lengthen you stirrup(s) again as you improve, if needed. Hope this helps :)

    Is there anywhere who takes

You sound as if you're going though a difficult phase OP. I can't see why nobody would take him, if he's healthy/sane otherwise. As far as I know, blood banks only take 'big' horses - 16h and over. Can't you tell us a bit more about him? It's difficult to suggest anything with such limited...

Torres the cripple- an update and some photos

Glad to hear that's there is nothing majorly wrong with Torres! He sounds like such a little fighter - he definitely deserves his second chance! Just get those front feet sorted and let the fun times begin! Keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of his tests will come back clear! :)

Please Help! Running out of ideas

This is a difficult one... I'm afraid that, with his history, he should not be a child's pony. Also, standing at 14.2 means that he's probably only suitable for a small(ish) adult. Unless he's very talented or very well schooled, only someone that wants a project would have him and £2000 sounds...
