Me in Nandos with my son who was 15 at the time. "Pablo was very stiff in my hand last night. My left arm is a bit sore."
Son covered his face with his hands and slid down in the chair. That's when I head myself.
TSD, I am a lot older than you and have sort of experienced your dilemma, but different. I had a full time job and every evening I had to go and look after my horse on diy livery no matter how tired and fed up I was from work. Then home and deal with that aspect of my life. It took the shine...
My friend has one. He tows an Ifor Willims 506 with an 18h ID. No problems at all. But it must be said, pre corona, it was maybe twice a month and he wouldn't go anywhere that is more than an hour distance away. He highly recommends it.
I broke mine in 2010 and it took the full 12 weeks before I was in any state to ride. Although I was able to do all normal things, I found handling my horse and riding difficult because any sudden pulls were very painful. Also, brushing him and raising my arm to tack up were also very painful...
This. My 25/26 year old is on the same feed as he always had - ad lib hayledge, and a scoop of course mix morning and evening in winter. He gets only grass in the summer, May to September. He's not stiff and his teeth are fine so far. His work is trekking, a bit of schooling in the arena and a...
My boss doesn't really care if I don't enjoy my work. He cares that I do it. I don't hate my job but I don't bound into the office each morning bursting with enthusiasm. To me they look like workers getting on with their job in miserable weather on tracks they are familiar with and looking...
Hi Catembi. From my personal experience, I have found that you can come to a time when you have had enough of competition. For me it was when I was diagnosed with cancer so I was pretty much out of riding for a year with treatments, then some big life changes happened which kept me from riding...
In Nandos with my then teenage son some years ago.
Me: I was riding Pablo today and he was was really stiff in my left hand. My arm is sore after pulling so hard.
Son covered his face and slid under the table. :D:D (He understood but the people at the next table didn't).
Also, when I was in the...
So sorry HH. You are clearly a caring, considerate person and you did the right thing. No consolation, I know. Life is not being kind to you right now so be kind to yourself. Hugs.
My horse has mites on his legs. I have found loads about how to stop them from infesting but I can't seem to find anything on how to clear them away. Is there a specific treatment to get rid of them? All help will be greatly appreciated and accompanied by a socially distanced hug.
Damp it down and tie plaits or a line of pony tails. Keep it that way for at least 24 hours. That should keep it for a bit and let it grow a bit as the weight will help. That works for my horse.
