Having decided to buy an amigo XL 50g turnout for my big horse, they’re out of stock everywhere in his size.
So now I’m considering a Rambo optimo, but put off by the fact that it’s 0g. I’ve never experienced a 0g rug that stays waterproof and also don’t like how they feel cold on the inside...
Trying to work out if it’s worth me towing my horse trailer or getting a transporter to take one of my horses on a 120mile trip.
So can anyone estimate the cost of the diesel to tow my trailer (will be 1500kg trailer, horse and gear) with vehicle that does 37mpg on average when not towing (I’m...
I used to is progressive earth budget balancer, but recently swapped to Equimins as one of mine had issues with WLD and abscesses so thought I’d try something more comprehensive. It’s a good spec for the price. Not the cheapest, but far better levels of ingredients than some out there
Are they just normal animalintex cut into hoof shape? I have big sheets of it I can pre cut and stuff into the boot, but it’s a fairly snug fit so not sure how well it’ll work as may just scrunch up into the toe as I shove the hoof in before the foot is slammed down 😩

Horses live out, no where entirely...

My favourite are horsemanship saddlery. You can buy whatever...
Now they’ve been out for a few years, can I have opinion of PE synthetic saddles?
Is the material soft and flexible? Does it wear well? Are they lightweight? What sort of back profile do they fit? Does that vary depending on which model you go for or are they all on the same tree?
I’m experienced with youngsters and with unhandled ones, but this one is a bit older and has been allowed to get into some very dangerous habits. Hence wanting to be involved as every little change in his life makes him protective of his legs again
I have a difficult young horse who has some issue with his legs and feet being handled and I’ve decided to send him away for a couple of weeks training as I’m on my own with no help and am fed up of him being a pain in the arse
Place 1 - trainer I really like who has worked with horse before. I...
