Cobs are generally good doers, so if yours is a good weight where you can easily feel, but not see ribs and has no fat pads or apple bottom I would not give a hard feed yet. Plenty of good quality forage and go from there. He may need additional feed if he drops weight or he may need his forage...

The Iberians all seem to be massive now! I’ve had a brief look (will be looking for a weanling/yearling in a couple of years, not now) and they are all to make 16hh or more Do you know the names of the studs doing crosses you mention?

The emotional part was why I thought it would possibly not be the best cross!

Lemieux don’t do the acoustic ones in xl any more. He might not need acoustic ears really - he is a massive drama queen being ridden in the rain. He twists and turns his head in all directions to try to get away from it. Tried a pair of the lemieux acoustic ears today and they worked a treat...

…what brand do you use? The Lemieux large is just a bit too small all round. I don’t want to buy an XL in another brand as I think they’ll be too big, but is there another brand that the large is more generous?

I don’t think the items they’ve picked are as exciting this year, but a few better things to come. I don’t know if anyone else had the weird glitch this evening where future dates show up too?!
