    feeding question

I am not telling her it is wrong, was suggesting that since they are getting suffient supply of food else where they may not need to have such a large feed, as she feeds them even more when it rains. I don't tell her, i just suggest to her. I was wondering if this would cause a lot of...

    hay nets

I agree about the concern, my lad wouldn't panic as much if he had a haynet caught on his foot on thr ground in comparison to if his foot was caught in the haynet whilst it was tied up. My haynets have always been tied up to the string which was attatched to the solid ring...for just in case.

    feeding question

i agree on that. My main reason for been so concered is that it seems a huge amount of food for the horses who are not doing anything. I personally don't think the horses were obese but were very well covered, i ment that they were not extreamly fat where you could class them as obese. But a...

Why Is There A World Shortage Of...

My tack is black, I didn't answer the second one as I like them both it just depends what the horse is like as to whether I would prefer black or brown tack.

    Does this horse seem cheap???

I don't think the first horse is too cheap. just right, maybe a little steep (by a tiny bit) IMO. The 2nd horse is so cheap because of his age.

    bridle- buckles on headpiece

I have used one of them, i found it was less bulky and made it easier to use on a number of different sized horses, I cannot comment about the comfort of it, the horses seemed fine it in so it caused no problems but I don't know if it was comfier than a standard bridle you will have to ask them :P

Is this advert ok in your opinion?

Sounds a very nice horse and the ad is good, but i would be more attracted to the ad if you had mentioned the height he jumps, and a picture of that. Also if he is good to shoe/lead/in the stable/etc. If only I had the money and the time I would be very interested in him. Zebedee, yes it is...

Feeding hay from Floor, Net or Har Bar?

I wish i could feed mine from the floor but he is very messy and would cause a lot of wastage so he is fed from a haynet, we cannot have a feed bar as one corner of the stable has the water, the other a fixed feed trough (sp?) and the gate can be opened from either side so cannot be fixed there
