Has anyone come across lightweight hunter bay mare- 9 yr old- about 16.2hh. Irish bred by Cornea Eagle. Her name is My Something Special. I used to own her and I am trying to trace her. Last I heard a lady called Anna Brew in Isle of Man owned her but was trying to sell her. She had some ties...
So I contacted the BSHA and Sport Horse GB and have got the forms. I have plenty of experience showing hunters/ workers etc with good results and would be really keen to get into the judging and think I have a good eye.
The forms involve you being propsoed and seconded with references from...
I hate unreliable farriers to be honest and have sacked many in my yrs- but if he does a good job then you shud maybe give him a 2nd chance?
Unless u can get another one as good that is- at the end of the day you are paying him for a service and if u dont get the service you want- go elsewhere!
So sorry 2 hear about Ben. It is truly the most awful thing in the world when your horse dies and especially harder as you had him for so many yrs. Altho at least u have the great memories of all the good times together.
I bouhgt an unbroken three yr old from there. It was a good find and there was 100's of fantastic horses over 5 days in Septemeber - their biggest sport horse sales. I got revetted too- a must IMO!
prescott a good transporter to deal with.
The vat and commission does add up to quite a...

Blue Rajah sired Touch Of The Blues (http://www.manufortifarms.com/famousirishdraughthorses.htm) who is a fmamous sire!
Fantastic- he wud be one of the ones i wud go for if i was picking a stallion. U only have to look at the results at the top shows and getting best prices at the sales to see him mentionned ALOT! I wud love one!!
That is rubbish- i Know lots of professioanl SJ's who wud defo not over jump for the sake of preserving a decent horse! Some would but then maybe they dont have the horse at the top of their priorities.
Just been lookin at www.horsequest.co.uk. Go to showjumpers and click unaffilated and he is the 10th one down with the title THE WOW FACTOR.
Poor horse being made to jump 1.50 at home! Why woudl you do that when 5 yr olds only have to jump 1.20 in competition. This would put me off buying a...
