Best Place to advertise a saddle for sale

This isn't an advert admin I promise! I have a dressage saddle for sale but it's higher end market, where is the best place to advertise or anyone know a really good saddler who would sell it and doesn't take loads of commission? Mango cake for your help :)

    What would you do...?

I would be another to say stick with your 6yo. He is only 6 and you say the canter may be a problem, so I would suggest getting a block of lessons booked, say every week for 6 weeks or so. Try and get a few at show center's towards the end where the instructor can teach you around the course...

    Dressage!

Learn the tests now, as you will get flustered on the day. If you are getting someone to call them, learn them now anyway! Have a practice of the tests. Then you can work on a certain movement/transition that didn't go well before the big day. Dressage is quite like showing, as in the way...

Affiliated riders please explain FEI show jumping!

From what I know of showjumping (which may be wrong!) the stars relate to the show rating. 4* shows basically only invite riders from the FEI top 50 or so. 1* shows are more anyone can, but you will need all your FEI registration, horses, owners and any sponsors The stars do not relate to a...

    Ideas for schooling

A good thing to do with the 'lazier' horse schooling is to have poles, cones, wings, whatever in the school as use these as objects to go around and change direction and change pace etc. It should keep them thinking 'where am I going?' which in turn should have them slightly more awake and...

    Rugs

Again I would invest more in turnout than stable. And a couple of fleeces are invaluable. Didn't rugs suit different horses -for example Bucas do a range for horses with big shoulders and necks which would be an awful fit on a narrow horse.

    Bit ideas please

I would say try just changing the noseband to a grackle a couple of times as that may be enough. My not strong horse hated the universal, but hates anything with poll pressure. I ended up with Cheltenham gags with two reins as just a snaffle and then a little more on other rein when needed...
