Video of the 2003 Epsom Derby

Does anyone know where I can find a video of the whole race? One of my horses was a runner in it and i'd love to see him in action :) I've searched the internet and all i've found is a very short and poor quality video of the closing stages! The ATR archive has some videos of his other races but...

    Hartpury??

Thanks, I'm thinking it all through! I would also like to make sure that the equitation modules in the degree are optional? The horse I have has never seen a fence before and I don't jump anymore either, i'd rather focus on dressage! xxxx

    Leather draw reins??

Can anyone reccomend me some nice quality dressage leather draw reins for sort of not too much money? They need to be a sensible lenghth, not the reliculously long ones and preferably have clips on each end so they can easily be attached to the girth. The only ones I can seem to find like this...

Have just found this article ... am speechless!

Bloody terrible, I actually used to find him quite funny on QI, but will not any more. He is clearly not qualifyed to comment and has no understanding of the hard work that goes in, or the sence of achievement and enjoyment that both horse and rider get from the sport! Grrrrrr.....

    Recommend me some boots!

Been looking around for a while, but really not sure! I need some long, waterproof and warm yard boots. I love Dubarry's, but i'm not sure I want to spend £250 on a pair of boots. However I would like something simlar!! . I currently have some woof wear ones, which I have not been impressed...

    Dressage Competitions

Hi, I'm in the SW but i'm afilliated, I only do dressage and I must say BD is great! I started at novice when I first affliliated, you can have up to 124 points to compete at novice, so I your horse has no points already, you will have a while competing at this level. You can meet great people...

    Anky Dressage Saddles...

I adore mine! It is by far the most comfortable saddle I have ever had. They also have an interchangable gullet system which is a bonus! I was lucky enough that my saddle fits both my TB and my Warmblood. It also has great counterblocks which has really helped my leg position. They are my...

Anyone know how to do these plaits??

Hi Penniless, These are really large plaits(angle of the pic not too good), you would normally have only 5 or 6 of these up the neck compared to sort of 12 or 14. They are very wide and sort of stick up and out at the sides with a small ball in the centre. Hope this helps! xxxxx

    Do horses 'enjoy' dressage?

I was offered a working pupil position at a top yard, I went for a trial day there and I must admit I was a little taken a back by some of the horses' routine. One of the reasons I decided to stay at school is because the postion included livery for my own horse. Both my horses are dressage...

I came 2nd in the RoR & BD Elite Dressage!!!!!

It's a KK lozenge dressage bit with a sweet copper mouthpiece, horse loves it - luckily it came with him as they are about £70.00 to buy new! Yes the rings on it are smaller than the standard loose ring that I use for hacking - not really sure why!!! My PSG horse's bridoon on his double bridle...

I came 2nd in the RoR & BD Elite Dressage!!!!!

I think they will be running another serise this year, last year it ran from the 1st Sept 2008 to the 31st August 2009 and the BD points of RoR horses gained in this peroid of time are added up and ranked. 1st prize is £1500, 2nd is £500 and 3rd is £300.
