I have just recently got a new job and am getting someone to help me on weekdays with the horses to take a bit of the pressure off, she is going to put them out in the morning muck them out leave the feed haylage etc in so I can have more time riding them as its tough enough to get three done...
I had my mare on this and it did nothing, she had ovarian cancer and had to have her ovaries out last year, dont think anything was going to work with her though bar the op ,
I stable with michb and echo the difference in her mare is unreal!
I havent been on for ages as have been ill but all better now
I am looking for the best stable mirror to buy for one of my horses who is a bit upset in the stable, anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks in advance,
I have finally admitted to myself that my jacket is a bit tight and I need to buy a new tweed jacket, I know Alexander and James have some lovely ones does anyone else have any ideas where I could look online?
Thanks in advance,
Anyone know where I could buy these online, want brown leather but light ones, (as in weight) have a really nice pair but all it says on label is esquus glove co?
the s could be a c too its hard to read it could be Ecquus????
thanks in advance ,
Nice to chat again how are you?
I hear a certain bay pony is being a little star he is gorg!!!!!!
He has been so good and does not deserve this at all!
Put him on Arnica tablets for first couple of days will maybe keep them going actually.
At a bit of a loss at mo tbh vet coming...
Doh vicijp I didnt think of the inflamation when you cant physically see anything wrong or swellings you tend to forget that one!
Right will ask for blood tests too but just so I dont look like a complete pratt how does it check for muscle damage????
I know I have faced that fact too and as said I have him going to the physio tomorrow, I am just gutted by the whole thing and feel totally responsible as I let a rider on him that in my opinion was competent but clearly wasnt
Thats the thing last night he escaped from his field into my girls...
Yeah he is I had him in one of the days to check that,
Next step was physio have an appointment made for tomorrow with a very reputable woman for that but I have to travel him quite a bit, my Dad is concerned that that would be too long in the box if he is sore (approx 1-1.5 hours travelling???)...
Anyone know the results of the Ladies and the Amateur Lightweights?
My old horsey competing and I dont like to bug his new owner but would love to know how he went
Anyone even point me to where to get them, I still cant find it ,
To cut a massively long story short my horse ended up over a 6 bar gate the other day he did not make it, his front end did but his back end fell on the gate and mangled it beyond belief!!!
On checking him we found he was suprisingly ok with only a few v minor grazes,
had vet out to check him...
It was ages ago, he has done so much since then and I reckon he would get a HOYS ticket, we just have very few over here!
I have a 4 year old for next season or I wouldnt consider selling him just getting my facts sorted first iykwim!
for my 5year Old Intermediate / Small Hunter,
he has absolutely fantastic movement, great temperament and conformation,
full up 158cms chestnut gelding,
Jumps for fun!
been at a number of shows this year and always first or second (County Standard)
ANyone have any ideas?????
Thanks in advance,
Mmnnnn might try stable mirror not so much worried about the rolling its just they were very mucky and now hard so totally uneven plus he is a pratt in the field so its a worry at the best of times he just gallops continually!!!
He is on so kalm!
My 5year old is fretting in stable and wont put weight on!! I am trying very hard!!!
Anyone have any suggestions, fields needs rolled at the moment so he cant go out all day as he will be in a few weeks!
Ok Admin promise this is not an advertisement,
But I would genuinely like some advice where I could sell my Locks showing hat, I ended up with 2 (v V long story) and it has only been used I would say about 4 times! I was going to put it on ebay but not sure if there will do justice as I paid...
My baby was shoed from she was a yearling (not choice! it was recommended) anyway she was great stood like a lamb if they are well handled I dont see it being a problem,
Now she is a big girl (3 LOL) and broken it was no major thing to have shoes on!
I dont have the stables but my window doors are made out of them if taht helps no maintenance at all!
I looked into it at time of building but was very expensive for the stables and for my windows doors alone :0
