    Who should buy jumps ? Owner or livery yard?

    We have bought/made a full set of jumps, do the liveries offer to replace them if they break them...Not very often! If they don't help move them round etc. we don't let them use them.

    Blind in one eye

    I knew a mare with uveitis and she was in a lot of pain even though it was treated, she had a special mask also. She then developed an ulcer and had to have the eye removed, since then she has been a different horse and is pain free and very happy, her and her owner have there very first show soon!

    I usually feed from the floor, mine is a youngster and Im paranoid about him getting his legs trapped. Its more natural for them too, a high net makes them twist there necks to eat. the only time i use a hay net is a small hole one for travelling or if they are tied up for a groom etc...
