PASSPORT QUERY - LIVERY YARD REQUESTED A COPY!!!!

Does every horse have to have a passport by law? As I read on defra website that if they don't, you cannot move them or expect to be able to do anything with them. Does that mean if you have a hairy pony in a field that doesn't ever come out, it doesn't need one. By the way, all mine do have...

They are all vaccinated and I really don't mind them seeing that info, but not totally happy about the passport stuff. What if my horses and the copies got stolen??? They have all my info then. Showing Judging - fair play or not?

They weren't hunters so must have been show hack n wotsit class. Yes all did individuals too. Do you feel you are always judged fairly tho? You must be considered a 'pro' given your track record tho.

Showing - How far would you go to win?

FMM I am so pleased that you have done so well without the need to 'cheat'. It is fantastic. We need more people in showing like you. This isn't idle chit chat and I really can't reveal who has said or who I am referring too as it is really 'naughty' that I have spoken out like this. You surely...

Showing Judging - fair play or not?

This was ladies side-saddle and they were required to give a ride and individual show. I think that it was a hard class to judge but could have been fairer.

Showing - How far would you go to win?

trouble is if I tell you how i get the info, some people will know who I am and I still compete. I just want to know how many people will stand up and go against this behaviour and is it really worth it. Don't get me wrong, I love showing and not every time is unfair or every horse drugged...

Freshman - I understand what you are saying, and no its not helpful but I have spoken about something I feel strongly about. I have a Dartmoor that I show. If i report these owners, then do you really think that my pony will be placed well in the future? I think not. Also, I have just spoken out...

Showing Judging - fair play or not?

I watched a side saddle class at RIHS and the coloured cob, lovely as it was, napped sideways with the judge and nearly ran her into the hedge jump!! A little grey cob that only did a minor mishap in the initial go round, gave a gr8 ride, gr8 show, some one handed, got placed below the coloured...

Inhand showing - what to wear?

Cowboy hat would be ok for local. you really want to look for a felt trilby. have a look on ebay. Brown gloves and a brown whip/cane. gd luck. Same for ladies. If you get into an evening performance, black tie for men and flouncy dress and foofy hair for women.

Showing - How far would you go to win?

Ear to the ground I suppose. It amazes me cos everyone knows it goes on and no-one does anything about it. These people abuse these horses in this way and they still win. Where has their sanity gone? Been winding me up all week. Pheeww

Showing - How far would you go to win?

oh, dont get me started on measuring. They now are bleeding the horses to make them lethargic. Remember this is for a rosette and a prize of less than £100 normally. Also, the horses are not even sold for mega bucks. Top show horse for about £30K. Pocket money compared to eventer or dressage of...
