Probably not qualified to comment...im selling my horse as i want a house/life etc - i cant afford even a house with a horse - so one has to go [horse] i couldnt imagine having a horse and a baby.... time as well as money... there are always horses - no matter how attached we are - my mare...

tbh i wouldnt touch a horse that had not been backed age 7..... even at 5 im wary about touching if it hasnt been backed. defo better value in backed v unbacked tho...

i have better things to do :D at an old yard a long time ago - the yo made us stamp them down, slightest bit of rain too they didnt go out - or if they were out they came in. Yard im on now, rolls and harrows so we have no need - and FWIW - we have tons of grass :D

yes. i love it. and id never move unless i moved areas. the facilites arnt amazing...but it suits - my horse is happiest shes ever been and so am i :D

Im on a pure DIY yard - there is someone who charges for services [who i pay] yard owners are fully aware and quite happy for this to go ahead. personally, i dont care who gets my money as we don't do favours - at all... i pay then everyone knows where they stand...

Mine was in today - i was in work all day and if anything went wrong theres nothing i could do about it Mucked out at 7am, skipped out and finished off at 6pm after work... works for us every year :D

I dont have kids,, but I think when i do - pony days will probably be over. Horse wont ever be sold but probably out on loan/share or field livery for a few years I work full time/have a bf, dogs, house etc and quite honestly god knows how people fit in kids with horses too.....superhuman...

about 7 hours a day - she wants in any more than that to be honest.

erm sorry to disappoint - 2 years......... i feel like im slowly getting there - we have little setbacks mostly due to her fear which she cant deal with - shes bonded well with me - comes flying over to me in the field, lovely in the stable and over food aggresion n the stable :D

no - unless its ice and snow - shes out... my yard do keep in if its torrential - which is fair enough, i dont mind her in as long as she has a net to keep her happy. She loves her stable anyhow but id rather her out She does get mud fever quite badly [4 whites] but I will treat as we go...

Ive left mine to my mum - and as it stands, the money in my horsey account with pay for euthanasia...sounds horrid but i always have [and will] 700 set aside for this..... i did this with my last mare and sadly used it. if not - the money is there for a nice retirement field for her... shes...
