Yes. I bought my mare for dressage and somewhere along the line found she loves to jump instead. I found her a rider and they are doing amazing together. I love to watch them and she is a better ride for me because of the extra work.

As others have said, it's worth what people will pay for it. A good safe pony that's a solid packer around jumps and well behaved in all ways a parent is worried about holds its value well. And to be fair, while age may slightly increase the risk, the 'spent all that money and it could go lame...

This was just a display of bad temper directed at the poor horse. There wasn't really any logical attempt to use the whip in a way that would encourage the horse forward into the trailer. It was purely a thrashing because the girl had lost her temper. Not one action on the horses behalf changed...

Used them for a winter and managed fine... moved a little bit. Horse quickly got used to them. Were light enough to lift to let the floor dry and put back down every day. Had spares so swooped if very wet. Only don't use now as moved yards and new stable has rubber matting floors already installed.
