Its the scales of training test and as a consequence is somewhat daunting.

Morning All! Wondered if anyone could help me out. Im organising a dressage competition for university riding and I need to find a judge, however I am somewhat struggling.
As Im not from the area I have no idea who the "good" judges are; someone has suggested Marge Copus, but from what I can...
What a bizaar situation. Your yard owners actions seem entirely irrational, surely the solution to the problem is just to keep the horse in its stable, this resolves all problems about the horse jumping out and infecting other horses etc.
In terms of moving the horse - moving a very sick horse...
It caught my eye too & was of particular interest as we had a horse/foal on our yard for 3 years that was one! Ours was born on the yard after a classic "accidental" pregnancy; she was a beautiful dun filly foal, but was always extremely bolshy & we often joked about how coltish her...
My horse has just recovered from bastard strangles and in my experience swabs are very fickle - my horse had several internal and external abcesses, however he never tested positive when swabbed. Because of this we relied fully on blood tests, I know that in a sufferer of strangles the blood...
I had huge problems with my horses feet not being able to hold shoes at this point last year. So under advice, I took his shoes off & invested in a pair of Old Mac boots; from the research I did at the time, I would suggest that these are the best to use as I spoke to many people that had...
Ive been a couple of times, I would say the website probably describes it accuratly there is a 2ft6ish course & 1ftish course. It isnt the best built course, but you wont have to queue, so its worth a gander if youve got an or so free & want to confidence build a very novice horse!
Never heard of it being done at really local level, but there is a very specific dress-code at county, I imagine it is the same at local level. I cant tell you the specifics as I never pay a massive amoutn of attention. However I know Deefa did quite a bit of it at county level last summer -...
I did the unaffiliated combined training there last year. If it is the same as last year it will be perfect for your pony; it is not built to height & isnt technical! I cant remember it being particularly spooky either - but I dont tend to notice with my horse
Hey! Welcome to the forum!
Wear a shirt & tie; find one coordinates with your jacket; personally I have a burgundy one, & wear it with a natural yellow shirt - perhaps something similar would work with your jacket?
Personally Id go with beige jodhpurs but it doesnt really matter, lots...
Thanks hun, the rails shouldnt cause a prob, hes done lots of technical SJ, so thatll be fine. Ditches is more of a worry for him, but Im sure theyll survive! Thanks for the advice & well done with Godders yday, read the report but didnt post - sounds like hes coming on a treat!
Did anyone have a nosey at the intro course? A friend has just text me asking for some advice about which class she should go for at the PC HT there this weekend; was the intro relatively straight forward or tricky?
Eurgh, you have every right to rant. You can be comforted in knowledge that he'll never find a horse that satisfies him & he will just continue to waste copious volumes of money in trying to find it! And TBH, I bet you'd feel worse if they actually brought her!

Brown is correct for showing.
Black would go well with grey but I much prefer dark brown tack, looks so much smarter.

Think black looks tacky on a grey (no pun intended) - go with brown!
