Burglary, Kenley, Shrewsbury

An outbuilding used as a tackroom, which is situated 20 meters away from a private dwelling, was reported having been broken into on 10/11/07.

It appears offender/s did not cut padlocks to the door but gained entry by making a hole beneath the door.

Well over £5,000 worth of equipment was stolen. Items included
• Jessica Ideal dressage Saddle, with air panels £1,000
• Indurance custom built saddle £1100
• Bridle and bit £210.00
• Wow dress saddle £1,000
• Easy sit dressage saddle £1,500
• Numerous bridles with bits x3 £500
• Dressage saddle
• Black Manor 17.5” medium wide saddle with English leather stirrups £800
• Black English Leather Bridle - full size £60.00
• Hanging snaffle bit £25.00
• Dutch Happy mouse gag bit £30.00
• Flexi stirrup £45.00
• Roma light and dark blue saddle bag £20.00

It appears that a wheelbarrow left in the yard was used to transport the goods to the vehicle

Investigations show that a white Mercedes panel van may have been used in the incident
