just wanted to hold my hand up and say hi I am new

and also can anyone tell me how to add a picture as some of you have some really cool pictures instead of a letter

Hello clairekat! To add a picture: at the top of this page you should see a bar with an icon of your C letter in purple which you want to change. Tap the icon, then on the screen which opens it should say ‘edit avatar’. Tap that and choose the photo you want. Hope it works!

thankyou for taking time to answer me, I don't have anything saying edit avatar, perhaps my computer settings need updating

Hi welcome here hover over the C picture, it won't say edit until you do. You just click the C picture in any case and it will then ask you to upload a file or enter a link.

Strange, mine has ‘edit avatar’ at the bottom of my picture, must be different iPhone or whatever. Whatever, hope what equi suggests works!
