1* is basically Novice size
2* Intermediate size
3* Advanced size
4* Advanced + The ultimate

There are minor differences in the sizes of the CCI's to our national comps as one is run under FEI rules and the other BE.

The CCI classes will have more difficult dressage and the xc will be longer and more difficult than the national competitions at that height.

Yes 1* is international novice, 2* international intermediate, 3* international advanced and 4* is for crazy mad people who feel the need to jump even wider/more technical fences!!

CCI means 3 day event
CIC means one day event

thank you so much...i knew about the CCIs and CICs i just didnt know wat 4* could be as i thought you had run out of things but now i understand!

just to be technical CCI's are inernational three days CIC international one days and an event ranked 4* is an international championship level contest.
