This is a bit of a weird one....my mare is on box rest for laminitis and yesterday when I was cleaning out her feet I noticed that she had 3 warm legs and hooves but her front RF was stone cold from the knee down!! I put her hoof boots on and led her out and walked her for a couple of mins to see if it was circulatory and it was still the same. She was sound and not in any discomfort, really weird. I phoned the vets and had to wait for one of them to call me back. In the meantime, probably an hour or so later my friend who was still at the yard checked her and it was all normal again. Have spoken to the vet and he hasn't come across it before, has anyone else?? Not sure if she had got up from lying down, unlikely as she rolls but doesn't really lay down during the day. Very weird.
