My lad has been in the last week as I've been unable to get him down to the field as the lane is like an ice rink, so to keep him entertained, I drilled holes in swedes, carrots and apples this afternoon and hung them up around his stable. Was quite chuffed with my efforts, put Lukey back in his box and he demolished the lot in seconds!!!!

Oh well, kept him entertained for a wee while!!!

hahaha - same happened to me last week. My little pony got through a whole massive turnip in about 15 minutes. The noise was hysterical - like a pig grunting!!!

I had a horse who had the knack of swinging the turnip into the wall, watching it splatter and then gobbling it up!

I gave up in the end and just lobbed them at him...I mean....lobbed them INTO his stable for him
