Hiya.
Ive been looking for riding schools in my locality to help me get back in the saddle, its been oh... 5 years since i last rode a horse, and ive noticed a local college offers a 10 week course for £190.
To be honest i think thats what i need, more than weekly lessons. Last time i rode it all came back to me rather quickly (once my muscles had woken up)!
I really really really wanted to go next door today and take up their offer of riding their horse, but im too nervous. I hate not being good at something, especially on someones horse that hasnt been ridden all winter, so we would both be a bit naff.
Has anyone been on one as a bit of a refresher?. I do need to start from the basics i think. Did it work for you? was it enjoyable or a bit pointless?
thanks.
