have a look at the 3rd one down on horsequest's Intro/Pn page, it's by Primitive Rising, 5 yr old bay geld, jumping a decent fence well (more pics show even better style), £8.5k, PN placings, in Oxon.
the one a bit further down the page by Big Sink Hope looks worth considering too, i reckon.

Because people way over-price horses nowadays!

You can find decent horses for under £5k IMO but you just have to look!

thanks tigers eye-have looked through all of those myself-
horse one is ok
the greys i know dad will HATE (i am tempting round to look at them differntly but if its his money then i cant get him 2 look at something he really doesnt like...the darker they are the better...im persuading him slowly...and one is a mare which may sound immature that i dont want one...i just really would prefer a gelding this time around)

and i think a 3 year old tbh will just be too young for me.

kerilli i have actually rang about that one twice from 2 different ads...first time i rang it was the owner who is an event rider but was incredibly shady on the phone and wouldnt answer anything...then second time he was selling it for her and it had been reduced....but as soon as i was like ooo actually i have rung about this horse he couldnt get off the phone quick enough-he even gave me the horses BE name a bit wrong and didnt really have anything to say....which really put me off.
