Is everyone ready then?

For the new regs regarding tacho useage .......... because I believe VOSA are, & fully expecting to have a "field-day" (particularly at the weekends)

What with the weight issues which are becoming a nightmare for those 7-5 tonners .

BIG FINES ! Beware.

I'm informed too, that if your exsisting tacho doesn't pass it's calibration (& many, many won't ..... due to lack of use) that you will not be able to have an analogue one to replace your old one. You'll have to have a digital one fitted. Have you applied for your digi-card? Do you actually have an entitlement to one?? (ie a licence to drive 7.5tn)

I think that the "for sale" sign maybe going up on an awful lot of boxes. Unless of course, they haven't been confiscated by the boys & girls from VOSA

So, what have you done in preparation for the changes?

Are you ready?

It only effects those with lorries over 7.5 tonnes. there is an exemption for private 7.5tonne lorries.

Def only applies to 7.5 ton and over.
Our transport manager pointed it out to me and showed me all the blurb. We are still ok on our 7.499999 ton boxes (for now).
