Well I missed the 12 months update lol!! Been so busy between training for the new badminton season and my first few tournaments and dealing with the horses

So Kia was taken barefoot in july last year his feet looked like this

Hes sound on all but the roughest of surfaces and even then once hes iver it hes fine again, no issues and farrier very happy with the feet Hes hacked out two to three times a week mostly on tarmac, he was trimmed four weeks prior to these pics

Wow what an improvement, I'm going down the barefoot route first time ever, she's 3 and never had shoes so I suppose a head start as lovely frogs and soles already. Good luck and well done for taking the step

He's 22 so been shod lost of his life, wishing I had done it years ago and no attempting it with my other pony she's only about seven so hoping to have her out competing next year barefoot

Thanks I'm pleased at how sound he's been as he was previously very lame when I tried to about 6 years or so ago but this time better prepared and armed with more knowledge it seems to have worked out hoping the you get one has as good a transition
