Had him nearly a month, wanting to better understand what feed he needs and see if what his previous carers advice on feed is appropriate now.
Like most say with ex racer TB’s, don’t want anything to make him fizzy.
Am riding him perhaps an hour a day 5 days a week. More than he did with his previous owner. He can be quite spooky on hacks by nature if that’s anything to mention. Super loving and docile generally to be around.
In process of getting his feet in better health so am thinking after reading about it. To add micronised linseed to his feed. Not sure how much?
He loves his hay! Grass is ‘ok’ where he is.
His feeding regime I got handed to me was
3/4 alphafa nuts
3/4 calm & condition
Soaked in water
morning & dinner
any advice? Thanks
