I'm just looking for some history on our new mare? I'm wondering if anyone has any info on her or recognised her? Pip (Pepe on her passport) is passported at 14.2hh but she's perhaps a tiny bit bigger. Her Passport also states she's 14 as of this year, but it's a relatively new Pet ID one, issued just before last summer so we're unsure if how accurate the information is.
She a bright chestnut with a perfect diamond shaped star right in the middle of her forehead and a small white sock on her left hind. She is freeze marked 3V4E.
She can be very typically 'Araby' but can also be very chilled out, enough so a compentant child could ride her.
She's doesn't kick or bite and stands perfectly for the farrier. She's a foreword ride and can be very sharp but works in nice natural outline, carries herself lovely, and has great collected paces for this reason we think she may of shown?
Also she loves to jump, and has gone over anything and everything we put in front of her, she extreamly fast when jumping and can can turn on a sixpence. So she my have show jumped in the past? she knows exactly what she's doing, locks onto fences, no poles down, refusals or run outs, she's very careful and her striding is perfect every time, someone has obviously put a lot of time and effort into her.
She's perfect on the road and with 'scary' things. I can't comment what she's like in open spaces yet as we just haven't had chance to get out much. She's relatively good to catch and and loads well. Anybody know this horse?
She came to us rather poor, quite under weight and with absolutely no muscle but she's getting better every day. However, she did have a pulled mane and tail. She means the world to us already and is now in her home for life, would just like to know her past
Thanks in advance!
I'll get some pictures tomorrow.
