Hi
Any advice on the good sales liveries would be appreciated.

I have a strong willed mid-chunky 14.2 cob, I am fast approaching the realisation that we are just not right for each other.

He’s a nice boy, no malice in him, but he needs a firm hand and a stronger rider than I am to get the best out of him.

In the right hands he’ll be a great hacker and loves jumping.

Any suggestions for sales liveries good at his type?

I’m South East

You could try Kilnhanger Stables nr Guildford run by Lyn Roberts, or NT Equine also in Surrey for initial enquiries.
I'm not reccomending, but suggesting, as admin gets v twitchy about dealer posts.

Abacus, the OP hasn't made enough posts to be able to PM yet.

Most strong cobs can be retained to respond lightly to aids with groundwork. Mine arrived as a bolshy, strong cob but three months in, and I have a lovely cob, who can be ridden in a snaffle (I still use a Pelham as we’re still working on brakes in canter), and who is lovely to lead.

If you can work through it, I would, trying to buy a better one without needing to have work put in will be a nightmare.
