14 going on 4! ;-)

I took my semi retired tb out for a hack today. He was very happy to see his tack for a change! Iv had him 6 years now, he will be 14 in january. Well today was like riding a 4yr old fresh off the race track! he is nearly 14 like a say and is fantastic to hack (normally ;-) ) well it was all going good, and then AHHHHHH DRAIN!!!!!! AHHHHH ROAD MARKINGS!!!!!!! AHHHHH DRIVEWAY!!!!! AHHHH LITTLE BRICK WALL!!!!!! Luckily the drivers out today were very considerate. At one point we were right across the road and the car very kindly waited and then thanked me for mangaing to move him out the way so they could pass. i was very gratefull for them being so patient while my goon of a tb threw himself about for no reason! You gota love em! ;-) I do love him dearly, and even though he was a spoon he enjoyed his hack and so did I. And to top it all, he was sounder then he ever has been in trot! :-D

Actually, my mid teenage lady been a bit enthusiastic lately...... was putting it down to the alfalfa I stupidly changed her on to but you might be right Airs above the ground will def impress my instructor since she's a dressage bod!
