ok thanks Sanolly, I might consider a full loan but prefer to buy. The last one I took on full loan was 20 yrs old and a year later the owner asked me if I wanted to buy him for a stupid price so not having that again. But we did buy him lol...

Where are all the older ponies in need of a caring, spoilt life, hacking round our 25 miles of off road hacking to live with my 24 yr old welshie who is a star?

My boy is 9 - I know it's slightly younger than what you want but he has done everything, hunting, dressage, showjumping, XC, seen very heavy traffic, driving etc. He is a total gent and his last loaner was an 8 year old girl!
