Just posting on the off chance that anyone ever came across my old horse. His name was BJ and he was a 15.2hh chestnut 3/4 TB gelding. He had a faint stripe on his face and a white left hind fetlock. Freezemarked Y531. I sold aged 9 or 10 around 1991/2 to someone in North Lincolnshire or South Yorkshire. He was a lovely chap, kind and gentle. I've attached a piccy if I can figure out how to - but have put one in my Profile Album in the meantime. He'd be in his early 30s now, so not holding out much hope that he's still around.

I'd love to know how he got on in life, as I think about him often.

Seems I can't edit my post to add a picture, I'll try this link to see if it works:

Sorry I don't have any info but just to mention that if you haven't done so already it might be worth putting details on the Tracing Equines website www.tracingequines.co.uk - TE are also on FB and often put out/share details of horses listed on their website onto their FB page.

Also just to add have you contacted the freezemark company? They may have details of the last owner - I don't think they can confirm full details but maybe a date and location and I think they could forward a polite letter of enquiry from you to the last known owner who could in theory then reply to you. If this is not the correct procedure then perhaps a forum member could confirm this.
