Try the stud near Canterbury (doesn't it make you mad when you forget the name as soon as you start to reply) Look it up on the WCPS website.

Naturally at some time in the night I will sit up in bed and remember the name!

Sorry to hijack thread op....... But does anyone really think that horse is 4? It seems to have done quite a bit for its age...... Plus already in a Pelham/double for showing? It also looks more mature than the average 4 year old.....

However I do like it!

It's lovely! I tend to agree- it's in the same Pelham for jumping I think. I wonder if it's quite strong? Gorgeous though- and expensive

Certain colours will always demand a premium. I worked at a stud and a lady drove miles to come see the palomino yearling, paid about 2k for him, having done nothing, and barely let you put a headcollar on. Just because of a colour. There were other youngsters there with better manners, better natures etc.

I've got a Janton boy - he's palomino and 15.2 unshod. The stud that breeds Babylon welshies specialises in pally sec d's - I think it's the place near Canterbury.
Google Babylon Precious, and look for her breeder.

Sorry Misterjay, Babylon definitely do not specialise in pallys. We have three Babylon bred and have seen all her stock, I think Precious was the only one and is half sister to one of mine.

Good luck is all I can say!

I started our looking for a buckskin/dun Connie x TB mare, upto 3yrs old that would mature to 15'2

I've ended up with the right breed but a gelding that is BAY!! and was supposed to make 15'2 and currently standing at 16'2 at 3.5yrs old :/

At risk of being contentious, Welsh Section D is supposed to be a native PONY, for pony read 14.2. I know that the Welsh pony society removed the top height bracket, but these over height ones lose a lot of the characteristics that made the breed in the first place. The same is happening with Dales and loads of over height connies are suddenly appearing as well. There are enough breeds of horses, lets keep our native ponies as ponies, we will be seeing 12,2 shetlands next if we let this continue
