Hi all,
If anyone knows of anyone who's looking for a fab little mare for full or part loan please let me know! I've put some details below...
I'm looking for a new loan home for my Welsh mare Meghan, either within the Leicestershire area or towards London. I'm based in London now but still pop up to Leicester to ride her regularly (she's kept near Bradgate Park) and also look after my other horse, so I wouldn't mind Meg being down South a bit closer to where I am.
She's 8 years old, and great to hack/shoe/clip/box. Very easy to do, nothing really phases her and she's not mare-ish. Has done a bit of everything - pony club, local shows, fun rides, and is currently used for hacking and schooling. Meg is a fun ride but not the fastest horse, and can be a bit lazy at times in the school - would really suit someone who wants to have regular lessons to get her working properly.
She's a confident, very sweet little horse but at the same time requires a firm, experienced rider as her stubborn Welsh nature can come out from time to time, therefore no novices please! Meg is a great all-rounder and I'm after the best possible home for her, the only reason I'm not selling is because she's a real gem.
For the right person she could be kept at my parents house in South Leicestershire (full facilities including outdoor school) with free livery and hay, which would obviously save any prospective loaner a fortune and you'd have company to hack out with.
