17.5" Extra Wide Saddle for Long Legged Rider!

I have very long legs which hinders the saddle fitting process!

I currently have a Thorowgood Cob GP and this fits my mare a treat, but my knees just shoot off the front!

My other horse has an 18" saddle and my legs fit on a treat, but this particular girl needs to have a 17.5" as 18 would be to long for her.

My saddle fitter does not have anything that fits both of us in stock, but can order in or source certain designs for me to try.

Could anyone who has long legs recommend me a saddle design to have a look at that?!
 
I have an 18inch ideal event saddle, which has a longer seat, but the pads at the back sit slightly further forward, so not too long for the horses back. Its an extra wide as well

i bought a pessoa legacy xp3 jump saddle hoping they would fit on that but they were still off!!

I now have a Jeffries Falcon Hawk Event in a 17" extra wide and my legs fit beautifully on it!! I was very optimistic till I tried it!!! Its a lovely saddle!

Someone told me it was designed by will fox pitt and im not surprised as if he fits on it so will I!

Thank you, yes that would make sense as he is rather tall ! will see if I can try one :-)

i can tell you now they are one of the most comfy saddles around!!

every time you clean them they come up like new, they really are good,

they dont look particularly forward cut to the eye hence why i was optimistic but they are actually quite large knee rolls and very comfy padded airflow knee rolls
 
I loved my Falcon Hawk Event! I now have a Farrington Event and I love it even more. The most comfortable saddle I have ridden in and comes in extra wide fittings. All the saddles have wide gullet for more comfort
