we took the old boy out showing today and oh my word what a lad! i love him so much right now. He won both his classes (veteran and child handler with my sharer) which automatically put us in the championship. He won that championship with entitled us to enter the supreme in hand championship and he became reserve supreme in hand champion! beaten only but a top show producer and her horse :D

After a disastrous day when showing my mare last season i was totally put off showing when i was placed down the bottom of a line up for entering a thoroughbred into a riding club horse class. i had such fun today that i am looking forward to showing my lad next year in more veteran classes!

Well done she looks fab - how old is she - and absolutely nothing wrong with a TB in a riding club horse class. Used to do well with them with my old TB.

thanks guys he is 23yrs old. i am going to try and qualify him for royal london and equifest next year as all the vhs qualifer are miles away which is fine for a championship but he isn't a good traveller.
