Ok Ok there weren’t many in my section and to be honest we could have gone a lot better especially if I hadn’t forget where I was going but as I have only had her for one week and it was her first time at a competition and first time out anywhere really I am just so happy with her!

As it was her first time I thought local would be best – Eland Lodge ten mins up the road had BD on and luckily you can enter even if you’re not a member but you have to go in the open section – so we entered Prelim 10, it’s not an easy one for a first but not much choice and to be fair to her she is pretty well schooled on the flat for a baby.

Bathed and plaited no problem, loaded and stod on lorry no problem, travelled no problem, stod while tacked up unloaded and I got on pretty quick but she was very good bit eyes on stalks but wandered over to arena with few snorts. Into warm up section of arena and she was good as gold not bothered about other horses and warmed in lovely only did 10-15mins then went in. Didn’t bother about white boards did have a look at some garden chairs but then concentrated. Did a very good test for first attempt considering everything, we have a lot to work on but I think I have a very promising horsie.

So next we have to crack the jumping then BE here we come!!!

Pics in gallery will try and get video uploaded at some point this week……
