1st Equine- claims

Has anyone has any dealings with 1st equine. They handle the claims for Equine Insurance solutions. I made a claim in the summer any have only received part of the claim. I keep ringing every week and they tell me that the cheque will be sent out next week, im generally getting fobed off by them. So say im getting a littled pissed is to say the least.

My vets are now sending me invoices wanting the remainder paid. Im reluctant to pay as i feel that is what i have insurance for.

Any advice would be greatly recieved.

Only advice really is to keep on at them! Think this was all Equestrian Direct that is now EIS so i imagine they may have quite a backlog of stuff.

But, that is not your problem. Tell them you are being chased for payment byt the vet and send them the reminders. Ask to speak to a manager, just keep on at them. I know it is a pain and you shouldn't have to do this but at the momet with this company I think it may be the only way I'm afraid.
