1st hunt on my pony!

On tuesday!! I'm so excited. I have been before so i'm not a strnager but pony never been out. I *think* he will be okay but any tips welcomed - I will be wearing red and green tape ion his tail. I wont be missed

okey kokey I think the thing I most have to worry about is him kicking another horse! or a hound - what happens if he kicks a hound ?

I dont actually know but it was drilled into me from a young age...think my granda told me that they minced you up and fed you to the hounds or summat lol

lmao - well he is used to dogs at the yard but not too keen on them - dont think he would kick out though (well I hope not!!) he just pulls faces

Have fun!! My horse hates my dog - he tries to stamp on her head if she goes in the field with him :shocked:, but he's never kicked a hound. Just make sure you turn his head towards hounds if they come past and you should be ok!

oooooo have fun! im cubbing next saturday morning first time il have been cubbing but hunted loads and hunted my horse once!

My mates horse kicked a hound and the hunts man ordered her to beat the s**t out of her horse infront of everyone! she did whilst crying her eyes out bless her! her horse and her are regular hunters as well and her horse is never naughty and NEVER kicks so just keep his head to the hounds if they come past you! have and amazing time!!

ye i no! she was distraught! and poor pony wasn't happy! he hasn't done it since though and never will i don't think :crazy:! was horrible!
