Last night Me and mum decided that as our 3 horses are now very good friends we would risk putting them out 24/7 as we have 5 acres and because of the rain the grass is growing like mad.
They are all usually out from 9am till 6pm anyway.
On the way back me and mum got to talking and we worked out that due to being on livery yards with restricted grazing for the last 15 yrs / Tammy getting laminitus / her having 2 foals /or being bullied by other horses Tammy (Now 28yrs young) had not been out full time in 15yrs!!
Mum has been up this morning to check them and all are loving it, came in had breakfast, took rugs off, quick check over and back out.
I give them a week before they are all ferrel lol.
It does make me feel warm and fluffy to know that they are being natural horses
