2 mins back from vets and chaos

Just picked my horse up from vets he had op monday on hind suspensory ligament.
I went to get him another rug as its supposed to be cold tonight and he must have gone straight down for roll. I came back to find drenched horse soaking wet bedding and empty water bucket, his face was a picture
Thank goodness I was still doing some jobs or he would have been cold wet and had no water all evening
omg they can test your patience , couldnt understand why he stood in far corner with complete look of shock on his little face

Oh no. Good job it happened while you were still there.

Years ago I put my mare to bed and went to leave but found a polo in my pocket so returned to her stable to give it to her, only to find she was cast. Thank goodness I went back as it would have been a couple of hours until YO did the late night check!

Anyway, hope your horse recovers well and doesn't knock the water over again.
