2 PIEBALD MARES STOLEN BRIDGENORTH

Two mares have been stolen from premises near to Bridgenorth in the last few days. Both horses are black
and white with one being approximately 14 hands and the other approximately 15 hands.
Please let me know if you are offered these horses for sale or may know anything about their whereabouts.

Presume this is Bridgnorth, Shropshire. There was a report in local paper of a 2 year old chestnut cob stolen from Dawley, Shropshire (not far away). Has a white star and 2 white socks on hind legs. Taken between 8pm Sat 25th and 6 pm Sunday 26th. Not sure what sex Star is as referred to as both he and she in article.
Another horse was not taken but found in a neighbouring field.
Same contact no as above 0300 333 3000.

Hope it is okay to post this on here without owners permission. No mention in article about horsewatch being notified, but no contact detail for owners to suggest it

It does not look like Shropshire Horsewatch web site is being kept up to date
It is really frustrating when horses dont ''get into the system'' quickly and onto the Stolen Horse register and info fully circulated with pics.
Sure the PC above is doing her best
Hopefully the news in the paper will give people a heads up to tighten their security in the area.

Cuffy, the chestnut was stolen less than a 1/4 mile from me - this is the first Ive heard!

Shrops HW hasnt contacted me about that horse ( but has about the coloureds), but I will see if I can find out more info.

Tubbytoby , more details in Shropshire Star Tues night. It ws apparently stolen from a field off Hinkshay Road, Dawley.

Hinskhay is very close to me! Im contacting friends to see if they have more info - but nothing yet. If I get more details I will post them.

Shrops HW website has now been updated with the info on the 2 coloureds, I will see if I can find out more on these two as the description given out isnt detailed.
