2 ponies found ..... Pitsea

Found two welsh ponies in Pitsea. Seem to be well handled, not bad condition and with headcollars on. These ponies were found on a housing estate. Microchipped but no registered owner, breeders, ned, defra have been contacted. Found last week. Please pm me if anyone has idea who may have lost them. Thanks

Poor little things, it never ceases to amaze me how people can just dump animals. Can they not trace who microchipped them? Maybe it's worth contacting local vets Blaircourts cover that area or WPCS they might be able to trace the chip. At least they both look in quite good condition. I hope you have luck in finding a safe home for them.

Not so long ago came from pitsea up to sadlers roundabout three horses had been dumped in the middle of the roundabout the police shot them as they were a danger to road users nice horses as well

That sounds a drastic decision I know the EHPPS are overflowing with horses it's such a sad outcome for such beautiful creatures.

I think the council will be contacting the echo to do a plea for owner/info. If they dont get claimed they will be coming to mine as ehpps etc are full and then homes sought.
Breeders have been contacted and some info has been found out but passports have not been updated. Horsewatch,police,ned have all been informed.
