Pedestal? No I think not, FMC is respected because she is a consumate oldfashioned horsewoman and has skills that many of the people who knock her could not learn in several of their lifetimes. Her only fault is that sometimes she is far too honest with people and perhaps lacks a little, shall we say diplomacy. I personally find that very refreshing on a forum where the most some posters can say is 'Oh isn't he lovely'.

You obviously have some sort of personal axe to grind.

anything to do with donkeys, rescuing from abroad then not having the space for UK animals? Just curious as you say you are in Cumbria.
 
Strikes me that there are three people who can't handle JM07's popularity (which IMO is well deserved) nor the fact the vast majority on here accept her line of business including the hugely responsible removal of those ponies which ought never to have been born in the first place. I certainly couldn't do it and am sure the little scraps get at least a little respectful handling during the time they are with her, if their fate is not rehabilitation. Why can't people think of the successes? JM07 surely deserves a few quid for those!

I'm absolutely certain that if I lived next door to her and needed her help or advice, I'd get it. I might not want to hear it but it would be straight and good. However, should I need someone there as a dearly loved pony of mine leaves for ever, she'd be there, too in a different role altogether. She might even shed a tear, but it would be for her friend, not the animal.

No, she isn't fluffy. Fluffy's OK when the sun is shining and all's well in the world, but cotton-wool is neither use nor ornament when the heavens open.
When it's p!55!ng on you from a great height and blowing a high hoolie, you need stormproof. With a cosy interior. That's what JM07 is. And she always has room for shelter.

I'd be happy to be one of her ponies because I know she'd do right by me.

OK let me get the jist of this jessicabeau1 posted on Tuesday as she had 2 neglected ponies signed over in lieu of debt post is here http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=385595

No one offered her help apart from Joeanne who contacted FMC for her who agree to take these ponies, so she "sold" them to FMC for £30 so from Tuesday- Friday she fed/watered/hayed them £30 makes back some money on care they had! FMC picked them up at her expense. Jessicabeau1 used to deal in the occasional pony/horse and ponies have now gone to a home were they will be looked after fed up to a proper weight fed/feet done am i right so far? FMC buys ponies and spends her time and money sorting them out ones who cannot be are taken to be humanly unithitised?(sp) ones who are safe/sound get sold on? so im correct so far?

OK way i see it is Jessicabeau1 didn't know FMC but because the girl/woman was desperate to see these equines cared for she posted on here for help, which she received but not from half the people on this thread who are hurling abuse, then Jessicabeau1 get abuse about being a dealer tell me this if she hadn't of given the ponies to FMC she would of been left alone! she could of sent these ponies off to slaughter she never its not the equines fault there owner couldn't look after them and they deserve a chance at life all same, im fully getting sick of the quarrels on this site this sites become cl icky haters one side and fluffy's next.

Jessicabeau1 i dont know you Ive never met you and i didn't know u existed till this post was posted up! But i think what you have done for these ponies who u obviously couldn't care for was best for the ponies. Only reason your being jumped on is because of the FMC haters like to back people into a corner and keep going all i can say is ignore them!

I do not know anyone on this site in person i have few on face book (not FMC )

I thought this was a helpful site we asked for advice had clash of opinions and got over it like water of a ducks back but i see now some still hold grudges

I'm not a fluffy say it as you see it but do not jump on people because they had a running with someone you dont like! grow up ffs
