2 things, feed & how to register, help!

1st thing, i have a fell pony who at the min is just on happy hoof and carrots, im currently doing dressage, jumping and just started xc so was wondering if i should give him some kind of supplement? Hes nearly 11 so hes not that old.



2nd thing, i want to register my Fell pony because id love to do some Fell pony society events but he needs to be registered. Unfortunatly i have no record of his parentage and i have emailed his previous owners and had no reply, is there any way i can still register him or is it impossible without his parentage?

Unless you want to go down the route of spending an absolute fortune taking DNA from your pony and hoping that his parents had theirs noted down at some stage to match with, and at 11 years old that is highly unlikely, you won't be able to register him.

As for the feeding, if he is coping well with the amount of work he is doing on that feed then you need not change it. If he isn't coping then I would suggest feeding him something else along with the happy hoof.
