So after more than 2 years, Pregnancy, a Csection and the destruction of my core muscles I finally scrambled back on board a pony!
I’m far wobblier than i would like, there is absolutely no strength in my core muscles at all and I’m considerably fatter than last time i rode (as evidenced by my jods refusing to do up)
But Bryn was lovely, he coped beautifully with me. His owner was very encouraging and not worried by how wobbly i was.

Well done! It’s a challenge getting back on after having a baby, I still feel so wobbly. Looked like you smashed it though!
Gorgeous horse too!

Well done! The first time back is the hardest and you look far better than I did! I was worried that I would be nervous of spooking etc but found actually I was scared of my own body cause it felt so different to pre pregnancy. I wasn't scared of the spook but more my body's ability to sit to it.

Pilates really helped me get my core strength back and get back to grips with isolating different muscles.
