I've decided I need to sell my 2004 manufactured, blue 505 trailer.

It's in extremely good condition. Infrequently used and always cleaned out after use. Has all the usual, plus the full breast bar for using when the partition is out as well. No damage, fading or issues.

I've looked online to try and get an idea of what to price it at but the ones I'm finding are 'up country' and seem a tad pricey. I'm near Exeter in Devon and wondered if anyone can give me a realistic price - but without over or under charging. I feel asking £3000+ is rather steep (as I've seen a couple up for online) and I do want to sell reasonably quickly. I was thinking of asking £2600??? Reasonable?

Sorry, but that seems rather steep to me. I paid 1,850 for a very smart 2003 IW505 a few months ago. No full-width bar, but otherwise sounds in similar nick to yours. Either I got a cracking bargain, or 2,600 is too high...

Hope others come back with higher numbers now - that would be a lovely result for both of us!

I thought that seemed a little pricey too but then saying that I think people dont want the new model with its issues and are looking for the older model, so maybe thats pushing the price up.
I bought a 18 mth old 505 for £2650 but it was a couple of years ago.

I have a 2005, 505 in VG condition (+ ful breeching bar) that I am selling soon - I need the 511 - mine will be going on EBay and I would expect to get around £1900 for it.

Not an Ifor, but I paid £2500 for a 2008 Richardson Advance Supreme last April....not sure if that helps.

I wouldn't have paid the same amount for an IW505 that was four years older than my trailer.

have you tried asking an Ifor dealer for a guide price? i traded my old 505 in just over 2 years ago and got £1200 for it - it was 21 years old

I sold my 3 year old 505 plus tack box for £2600 last summer.
Wow Patches, that was a good price, we had to pay over £4K for a Richardson supreme excel, older than yours too!
